Zack and Miri Make a Porno

Kevin Smith, I loves him. I love Jay & Silent Bob, Clerks, Mall Rats, and especially Dogma. I'm always excited to hear that he's got a new project going. So, I decided to go see this movie despite the title.

It was funny. It was a cute story. Seth Rogen was good in it as the charming-underneath-it-all-but-ignored-friend character. But, it wasn't much of a stretch - I have a feeling he's been there before. Elizabeth Banks was just okay. She's cute. But nothing that special or unique about her.

But it's just not quite up to par. What is up Kevin Smith? I totally look forward to your new movies whenever they come out, but I'm afraid it seems that your caliber has dropped slightly.

If you're a Kevin Smith fan, if you enjoy crude humor (obviously - the title is literal), you'll most likely enjoy this one. But you'll probably be just as happy if you wait for the DVD.
